The flat lies in central Kreuzberg, one of the super trendy, hip areas in Berlin. The entire street ist lined with large plane-trees and the area is traffic protected. The Dieffenbach street is especially famous for it's bars and restaurants. Every August, a big festival, the Gräfekiezfest, is celebrated around here. Most neighbours are western European young professionals. There are plenty of kids and therefore plenty of playgrounds and parks in close vicinity.
By foot, it takes you one minute to go to a pharmacy and 4 minutes to go to a supermarket. The Ubahn Schönleinstraße (U8) is 5 mins away and you'll walk 10 mins to get to the Ubahn Südstern (U7) and to the Ubahn Kottbusser Tor (U1 & U8). There is a McFit Gym 5 mins away. You can reach the Landwehr Kanal (an old 19th century harbour) in 10 mins, in which many Berliners go kayaking. The lively Paul-Lincke-Ufer is just 5 minutes away.
The apartment is large and traditionally built. It has a balcony that looks onto the street. Directly beneath the apartment, there is a bakery that makes lovely pies.
